Emergency Mobilization Situation at CCPC, 9a-12p
(This is a Practice Drill)
Date: Sat. November 6, 2021
Troop 7192 has been called to assist with an emergency shelter situation at Kirk Hall at CCPC.
As you likely heard, the tornado last night came through a part of Westerville, destroying property and displacing about 15 families. Central College Presbyterian Church has offered to provide temporary shelter for these families until the situation is assessed and more assistance is available to them. Our troop is needed to help provide immediate basic needs such as water and food, sanitation, support, crowd control, etc.
Please report to Central College Presbyterian church at the north door of the main church building by the car drop-off circle at 9a. Report to your SPL to get instructions from there. Wear your Class A Uniform.
Bring: your face mask, Personal Emergency Service pack (if you have one), a First Aid kit (if you have one), a blanket, a small mirror, and a larger stuffed animal (to serve as a “displaced person”). Plan to be there until 12p.
Please respond to the group text: “[scout or adult name] coming” OR “[scout or adult name] not coming”
